BFFs

We concepted, shot, edited, and designed the main title sequence for BFFs - an indie feature produced by The RZA about two friends that play just one too many practical jokes on each other. The idea was a retro “buddy cop” feel.

To achieve the desired retro "buddy cop" feel for the main title sequence of BFFs, several creative decisions were made during the conceptualization phase. The team behind the sequence drew inspiration from classic buddy cop films, taking note of their use of bold typography and kinetic camera movements. They then added their own unique twist to the concept by incorporating playful elements that reflected the film's comedic tone. For example, the team used a colorful and energetic color palette, incorporating neon hues of pink and purple, to create a sense of fun and lightheartedness.
